SO If you’re like me and love audiobooks but are also a CHEAP AF BOOK BUYER then you should totally try listening to audiobooks on SPOTIFY. YES. THAT’S RIGHT. There’s not just music and podcasts but FULL BOOKS. I don’t even have a premium subscription right now and only listen on my laptop, so it’s totally free for me–but the subscription is pretty affordable and most everyone already has it so…
ANYWAY here’s a list of TEN MG/YA books on Spotify!
1. When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
If you haven’t read this amazing bollywood rom-com, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! (and HERE‘s my review for this hehe)
2. City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab
I listened to this and OH MY GOSH. First of all, Schwab never fails to impress me but ALSO THIS NARRATOR WAS SO FUN?!
3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
THIS IS THE SPECIAL EDITION (narrated by Emmy Award winning actress Tatiana Maslany who is PHENOMENAL IN ORPHAN BLACK) but also the original version is there too as well as the SEQUELS!
4. The Raven Boy by Maggie Stiefvater
This has been on my radar but I haven’t read it (but maybe now I will!)
5. Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West
I tend to read Kasie West novels when I really need something super fluffy and light (like during exam season), so maybe I’ll do that!
6. The Maze of Bones (39 Clues) by Rick Riordan
While Percy Jackson is NOT on Spotify, this series is really fun! I have the full ten book collection on my shelves. Each one is by a different author including Gordon Korman and Margaret Peterson Haddix and I think most–if not all– of the series is on spotify for your listening enjoyment! It’s such a fun mystery adventure!
7. Don’t Date Rosa Santos by Nina Moreno
I’ve had this on my TBR ALL YEAR. And I got suppperrrr excited when I saw this!
8. Shipwreck (Island, Book 1) by Gordon Korman
Okay I have no idea whether this is MG or children’s but I read it as a kid and really enjoyed this! It was like a child version of a thriller and it was GREAT.
9. I Love You So Mochi by Sarah Kuhn
I mean I was really excited when I saw Rosa Santos BUT OMG MORE CUTENESS?! YES. I have this and realllyyy wanted to read it and now I’m even more excited!
10. Season of the Witch-The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina by Sara Rees Brennan
Since it’s basically spooky season and (though I haven’t watched it yet) the show is popular, I thought this would be a fitting way to end the list!
