audiobooks, book reviews

Audiobooks I tried in October

As a member of the Libro.Fm ALC Program, I get the option to choose a few audiobooks per month. This month, I got two audiobooks that I was interested in and I thought I’d share my thoughts on them here!

If you want to check out Libro.Fm, CLICK HERE and you can get your first month free (That’s my referral link, but I’m not being paid for this!)! It’s a great way to listen to audiobooks AND you can support local independent bookstores with it!

These were my options for October:

The first book I listened to was LOOK BOTH WAYS by Jason Reynolds. This was ten different stories in ten different blocks with ten different narrators! I had a really good time listening to such cute stories that made me laugh and cry. It was overall a really good experience. I would rate it a 3.75/5 (just because a few stories weren’t as interesting for me).

The second book I got was TWICE IN A BLUE MOON by Christina Lauren. I was really excited to listen to this because I really enjoyed the Unhoneymooners. BUT sadly I just really couldn’t enjoy the narrator’s style of talking. I got two minutes in before I had to quit. I hope I’ll get a ebook or physical copy sometime to read it though!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this little mini review and me talking about audiobooks! I definitely recommend checking out Libro.Fm! Have you listened to any good audiobooks lately? Let me know!
