The Book Snob Tag

This post was original created by tia and all the books on YouTube! I saw this over @ Musings of a (Book) Girl and thought it looked fun!

Adaptation Snob: Do you always read the book before you see the movie?

Nope! I sometimes don’t realize it’s a book until after I start watching a movie. I prefer to read the book before the movie but sometimes I just don’t care.

Format Snob: You can only choose one format in which to read books for the rest of your life. Which one do you choose: physical books, ebooks, or audiobooks?

oh gosh I literally love all three… ummmm… ebooks? I tend to read a lot at night and it’s so much easier on ebook *sigh*

Ship Snob: Would you date or marry a non-reader?

Ummm… as long as they don’t care if I read? Then sure?

Genre Snob: You have to ditch one genre – never to be read again for the rest of your life. Which one do you ditch?

I could live without Poetry…

Uber Genre Snob: You can only choose to read from one genre for the rest of your life. Which genre do you choose?

okay… ummm… can I just say Young Adult and keep it vague? Because there’s no way I’m choosing between Contemporary and Fantasy… I love them both and it depends on my mood.

Community Snob: Which genre do you think receives the most snobbery from the bookish community?

Diverse Books… aka nobody talks enough about them and even when they’re hyped they’re compared to more mainstream books

Snobbery Recipient: Have you ever been snubbed for something that you have been reading or for reading in general?

If not for just reading in general, it’s always the fact that I prefer young adult and middle grade that gets people. Like, I prefer not to have to think too much when reading and YA and MG always make me happy and want to keep reading. Why does it matter how old I am?

So I don’t think I’m too much of a snob? What do you think? I tag anyone who wants to do this!
