YA Books With Baking and Cooking!

I love books that center around different hobbies! This is going to be a post of books that center around baking or cooking! This isn’t a complete list, but these are ones that I’ve either read or want to read! I’ll do a part 2 with Adult recs!

Starting with the YA recs:

A Taste for Love by Jennifer Yen not only served with the fun baking competition, but it was also a fun Pride and Prejudice retelling!

Radha and Jai’s Recipe for Romance not only had therapeutic cooking, but it was also about bollywood dancing! Absolutely adorable and super fun!

With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo has actually been on my TBR for forever and it really sounds magical! Emoni has to care for her daughter and he abuela while also juggling senior year and the kitchen is her safe haven!

Love From Scratch Kaitlyn Hill is also on my TBR and has rivals to lovers and a food competition! PERFECT.

A Pho Love Story (on my TBR) by Loan Le is about rivals in competing pho restaurants!

Love From Scratch by Kaitlyn Hill is a summer romance with rival interns competing for one spot in a popular cooking channel!

Salt and Sugar by Rebecca Carvalho comes out in November and it has rival Brazilian bakeries! The cover is what brought this book to my attention and I’m obsessed!

  1. Hello! I’m seeing Sweet On You’s cover on this post, and while I totally adore it and wholeheartedly support the idea of recommending it to more readers, I just wanted to gently caution that Sweet On You is an adult romance, not YA. 😊
