May Wrap-Up

I took an unintentional break from posting throughout May and it somehow ended up being one of my busiest reading months! I consumed so much media and I have zero idea if it’ll happen again! I did a challenge where I read one book a day for a week and that DEFINITELY made this my best reading month so far!

Books:

  • Ilahara: The Last Myrassar by CM Karys – 3.25/5
  • Awakening Shadows by Sydney Hawthorn – 3.75/5
  • Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen – 4/5 (re read)
  • XOXO by Axie Oh – 4/5
  • Jade City by Fonda Lee – 4.5/5 (re read)
  • TJ Powar Has Something to Prove by Jesmeen Kaur Deo – 4.75/5
  • Love From Mecca to Medina by SK Ali – 5/5
  • The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan – 5/5 (re read)
  • A Darkness at the Door by Intisar Khanani – 5/5
  • Jagged Little Pill by Eric Smith – 5/5
  • Ms. Marvel: Destine by Saladin Ahmed – 5/5
  • Angels in Your Presence by Omar Suleiman – 5/5
  • Ms. Marvel Volumes 1-3 by G Willow Wilson – 5/5 (re read)
  • Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson – 5/5 (audio)
  • You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle – 5/5 (re read)

Movies/TV:

  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
  • Moon Knight (new fave marvel show!)
  • 1989 World Tour
  • Cheaper by the Dozen (the classic, nit the weird remake)
  • Business Proposal!!! (new fave kdrama i think!)
  • Ron’s Gone Wrong
  • Along for the Ride
  • The Hating Game (just as boring as the book tbh idk why I watched it)
  • Can You Keep a Secret? (again, idk. this was so boring)
  • Sonic and Sonic 2
  • The Princess Diaries and Royal Engagement
  • Mighty Ducks 2
  • Star Wars episodes 1-5 (we started Obi Wan Kenobi, of course!)
